NAMI Family-to-Family Course begins Mar. 12
Thursdays, Mar. 12 through May 7 , 6:30 - 9 p.m. (except Apr. 2nd, which is Maundy Thursday)
If you’ve enrolled in the Family-to-Family (F2F) 8-week educational course, remember that it begins THIS THURSDAY! The course is designed specifically for adult family members (18+) and others who provide support to adult loved ones living with a mental illness. The course is taught by trained family members who have the lived experience of supporting their own loved one with a serious mental health condition. The 2.5-hour class meets for 8 consecutive weeks, and each session builds upon the previous topics covered.
This evidence-based education course improves coping and problem-solving skills and includes presentations, discussions, and interactive exercises. Everyone who has attended this class has benefited dramatically from the information and strategies discussed. Attendees also discovered that they are not alone; recovery is a journey and there is hope!
If you missed registration for this course and are interested in information on upcoming courses, please visit the NAMI website.
