Youth Group
High School Youth
Our High Schoolers meets weekly on Sundays, usually after services, for a wide variety of activities. We often engage in discussions pertinent to life in high school, and also regularly go off-site for service projects, and to enjoy team building on some adventurous outings. Youth can pay one annual flat fee of $150 that will cover all activities for the year online via Vanco or by dropping a check at the church office or in the offering plate, or they can choose to pay a la carte for each activity they attend with cash or check.
Confirmands: 7th & 8th Grade Youth
The 7th & 8th grade youth are invited to join in for some of our special youth group outings. These are labeled ALL YOUTH on the schedule.
Pre-Confirmands: 5th & 6th Grade Youth
The 5th & 6th grade youth are invited to join in for a select group of activities as well. These will be noted as ALL AGES on the schedule

Come out and do some early holiday shopping at our Holiday Bazaar. All proceeds go to support out Little FREE Pantry.
We’ll go for wicked ball soccer but we can switch between activities. Actual time inside will be 4 -6pm. We’ll bring in dinner and snacks. Further details to come.
Join us for an all-ages Re-Pack Volunteer Event at the GCFD! This is a wonderful opportunity to help this amazing organization prepare food for distribution to food pantries all across the Chicagoland area.
Youth Mission Trips
Each year, our youth and adult chaperones take a Mission Trip to send a week on service work. This past year, from July 5 - 11, we had a phenomenal week working with Appalachian Service Project (ASP) in Kentucky. We worked on several projects at a single home this time, repairing the front porch, back ramp and painting. We will be forever changed by this experience of serving our neighbor in need, and getting to know the homeowner and her sweet dogs. We also had time to observe and discuss the differences and opportunities of living in a small rural community versus our suburban community.
