Confirmation Class for 7th and 8th graders

Our program for the 2026-2027 school year began on Sept. 16 and runs through the beginning of May. Come join us to discover more about our faith and what it means to be a follower of Christ during this two year journey to Confirmation.
Work with a mentor for weekly classes, monthly breakfast discussions, Christian service outings, and visits to explore other
faith traditions. You do not have to be a member of UCCDG to participate.

Classes meet weekly, primarily on Weds. evenings, with games and gathering from 6:30 to 7 p.m., class from 7 to 8 p.m., and gathering again at the end for a snack until 8:15 p.m.

Schedule & Curriculum

Our regular classes meet on Wednesday evenings 6:30 - 8:15 p.m., as well as once a month on Sunday mornings for Jesus Cafe at 8 - 8:45 a.m. and Jesus Jeopardy at 11 - 11:20 a.m. We also meet occasionally on other days for special outings, service projects and field trips. Some of the special outings and dates are listed below, and you can find a complete class schedule with the specific topics for each class here.

There is a one-time fee of $100 that will cover all activities, meals, snacks and transportation for the entire calendar year. This can be paid online via Vanco or by dropping off a check at the office or in the offering plate with a notation of Confirmation.

Jesus Cafe & Jesus Jeopardy for 7th and 8th graders

These meet-ups are part of our Confirmation Programming for both 7th and 8th graders.
Jesus Cafe, for Mentors and Confirmands, and meets monthly before Sunday Services, from 8 to 8:45 a.m.
Jesus Jeopardy, for Parents and Confirmands, meets monthly immediately following Sunday Services, from about 10:45 to 11:15 a.m.
